Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. 9 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine

Give

Finical giving reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us; in reality, what is already His.

The Bible teaches us that we worship with our tithe, which is 10% of our income given to the church regularly. Tithing is one of the Lord’s tools for ushering us into a generous lifestyle. When we feel called to give above and beyond the tithe, we do that as an offering.
