YOU STILL NEED TO SHOW UP

YOU STILL NEED TO SHOW UP!
Even though the battle is not yours

2 Chronicles 20:15–17 (NIV):
15 He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ ”

DO NOT BE AFRAID OR DISCOURAGED

VAST ARMY

Psalm 27:3
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

FOR THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS BUT GOD’S

DAVID AND GOLIATH
1 Samuel 17:47 (NIV): 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

EXODUS 14:13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

TOMORROW MARCH AGAINST THEM
Judges 7:19-22 (NIV)
19 Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guard. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars that were in their hands. 20 The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.
22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled

TAKE UP YOUR POSITION

STAND FIRM

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

SEE THE DELIVERANCE THE LORD WILL GIVE TO YOU

Matthew 13:15-16
For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

DO NOT BE AFRAID OR DISCOURAGED

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you

WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYING TO YOU?
WHAT BATTLE DO YOU NEED TO TRUST GOD WITH?
WHERE DO YOU NEED TO TAKE UP YOUR POSITION IN THE BATTLE?
WHERE DO YOU NEED TO HAVE EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO HEAR?
