Finical giving reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us; in reality, what is already His.

The Bible teaches us that we worship with our tithe, which is 10% of our income given to the church regularly. Tithing is one of the Lord’s tools for ushering us into a generous lifestyle. When we feel called to give above and beyond the tithe, we do that as an offering.

Tithe Challenge

When we trust God with the first 10% we’re activating our faith and believing that God can do more with the 10% than we could do with the 100%. James 1:17 says that ‘every good and perfect gift is from above …,’ so we have an opportunity to tangibly show God He is the ‘owner’ of our finances by giving back to Him the first of what He gives us.Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.
