Day 18 – THE FATHERS VISION
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:10
Have you ever asked yourself, “What is Gods vision for my life?” Ever wonder what His sole purpose is for you? Let me ask you a few more questions to really help you understand Gods vision. Is there cancer in the kingdom of God? Is there any kind of sickness in the kingdom of God? Is there poverty in the kingdom of God? How about depression? Or how about addiction?
The answer is an obvious NO. If this is true and if Gods vision and purpose is for His kingdom to come on earth, how should you be living in order to see this happen? The first thing that has to happen is to change the way we think about Gods will and purpose. Gods will is not for anyone to have cancer or any kind of sickness. People dying is not part of Gods will, it is a byproduct of the fall in the garden.
The Father NEVER intended for people to get diseases, to die or to live in poverty. This is because of the curse of sin, but the good news is, the curse of sin has been defeated by Christ Jesus. When Jesus declared, “It is finished!” He wasn’t joking or exaggerating, He meant it. You have been called and specifically chosen to live out Gods vision by living out a “It is Finished” lifestyle.
Living this out starts with changing how you think about Gods will and what His plan was for us from the beginning of time. Let’s stop blaming God for the bad things that happen to us and start praising Him while bad things are happening.
PRAYER: Holy Spirit help me change the way I think about Gods vision for my life. Help me understand that the Father is a good God and that He wants the very best for me. Help me to know that His vision should be my lifestyle and give me strength to live it out. In Jesus name, Amen!
